Rating: Eagle
This book is a re-read for me. I recently stumbled upon Thomas Stanley’s blog -which I found refreshing. Well, I picked up his book again, and what a revelation. Not sure if it has been the years since I last read this, or just my personal overall maturity, that I now see this book with different lenses.
Surely, I find its principles all throughout my business -helping all our clients become the Millionaire next store. But what I revealed in this read is also a manual on parenting. It echos a sentiment I have carried for years. We don’t want successful kids: we want successful adults! The only thing keeping this book from a Hole-in-One rating is my personal experience in planning where I don’t agree with 100% of the concepts in the book. But what is interesting about an Eagle in golf is that it’s still a hole in one on a par 3!
What caught my eye: #3 factor in determining your wealth: how financially stable your kids are!
