Rating: Bogey
This book was a tough one -several parts are Birdie worthy, then this book seems to fizzle a bit, possibly garnering a Par rating. You know the kind, you are on the green in 2, with a 5-footer, which you scoot by the cup, for a shoe kick par. You walk off the green feeling like you left something on the course – well it ended up being a bit worse than that in the end.
His writing style is often fun, refreshing and then a little self-aggrandizing. When I think of the content there were surely many things highlighted for me, yet very little I recall wanting to circle back and use, reference, and implement. Further, he has multiple contradictions in his recommendations, which in the end allows this book to really lose focus.
What caught my eye: in actually buying the book itself, I bought it used through Amazon. Came to find two books in my package, with a signed note from the author thanking me for buying his book, asking me to give out his other as a gift.
