This book was actually a re-read for me. As I was sitting down with my family to cast our 2016 goals, as well as reflect on our past, I was reminded of some powerful principals Tony wrote about in this book. Don’t get me wrong this book is a monstrosity at 500+ pages. Also – I am a bit hit or miss with Tony. Yet his book and its review of Values and Beliefs absolutely has stood the test of time with me.
As one can imagine with that many pages, Tony often gets verbose on certain topics. Further, I’d almost say this is probably 3 books put into one, and I’d recommend it over possibly reading serval of his other writings – yet I’m getting a little chatty as well.
Values/Beliefs in the last segment of the book are worth everything if you are like me, and look to improve a little every year. Live joyfully, celebrate moments more, and/or if you are in the business of working with others – I think there is good stuff here.
What caught my eye: I am the source of my emotions. Nothing and no one can change how I feel except me.
