I’m not sure if this was Gino’s 2nd or 3rd book (his other is in this Blog as well) but ironically, this is the lessor of the 3, and yet still a great book. For me, what this book represents is more of how it made me think and look at my own company, than the solutions it presented itself.
I would not consider it on the same level as his first book Traction or Get a Grip – but still a good entrepreneurial read. It highlights basic organizational structure of a small company and how to break through to another level. In his wonderful, sort of yellow pad, type approach, Gino lays out his view simply. As with any business book, just because a strategy is simple doesn’t necessarily make it easy to implement. Yet I challenge any small business owner to not take something good away from his work.
What caught my eye: All freedom comes from laying down boundaries
