Well – I guess I might have wanted to confer with colleague Craig L. Israelson before I got this one. He is listed as a co-author, yet his contributions had to be minimal in this stinker. What I found in this book is the all too boring ‘cover all bases planning’ approach, instead of something meaningful like Lifetime Income Strategies.
Further the constant appeal to the masses that anyone can do it or some information that even alludes to that for me, all too often creates a false sense of security. This and all books like it lack teeth. They lack truth. Wealth is hard. Winning with money, can be hard in our Short Term minded world. YES, tactics are often simple, yet as we all know and have experienced, having a workout routine doesn’t = optimal health!
I’ll admit, I expected more from this book, and it didn’t deliver. For your all-encompassing financial book, I wouldn’t recommend it; it’s just too all over the place.
What caught my eye: A successful Nest Egg Game Plan depends on a seemingly never-ending series of decisions that continually test one’s intelligence and fortitude.
