Any book that hints that things are done to you, how you need to manage what you have, and disavow any choice you have to make things happen personally, just directly conflicts with not only my experience, but also my world view.
Try to pay off your credit cards… really, just try. Guess when you cross an Academic with the question shouldn’t I be farther ahead?, this is kinda what you get. Sure, simple, one page/card plan – good premise. The execution in this book lacks substance, and fails miserably in focusing on what I have seen as the main driver to all success, personal responsibility. Sure this book is ‘cute’, but then takes too many common shortcuts and fails.
What caught my eye: try to pay your credit card in full, like one third of all customers (that’s right 2/3 or 66% of people carry a balance on their CC).
