Classic garbage financial literature– an author trying to disturb a little, promise success, and simply smears a catch-all bucket full of financial factoids as if somehow that helps people. You know I have a bias, and these types of books do not rest well with me– because the reality is they are dangerous.
This book just lists definition after definition, contradicting recommendations or absolutes, and in no way applies success steps that someone has used to achieve lifetime goals. Yes– there are accurate descriptions, but I just find books that throw ‘everything’ at a person, and assume that that helps someone, as insulting. That Tobias holds himself out as a financial expert I think casts a well-deserved black eye on the financial industry itself (which at some level, I think is his goal)!
What caught my eye: having a lower debt ratio is healthy.
